  1. I just got a Bose L1 model 1 that’s basically brand new…however appears to have common problem. No power. Great article! Beyond my capabilities. Any chance you want to take on another! I live in Washington so could easily ship unit.
    Thanks

    • You have likely done some major damage to the input power filter, aux supply, and power amp power supplies. The schematics are linked in my blog post. It may be repairable, but you’ll have to replace a LOT of parts. Good luck.

  4. Hi there. I was wondering, would you be willing to look at my Bose L1M1 aux power supply. I removed the aux board, from the base. I thought I could find a new board, but no such luck. As I live in northern Alberta, I thought that shipping the board would be easier, and cheaper than the whole base.

  5. Hi Sam…..I have the first Bose L1 system with the amplifier in the big round base.

I’m looking for a part called the “PAS Lower Array Connector”. It is a metal strip about 3 inches long and is held onto the BOTTOM pole with 2 screws that fit into the round base. It is located at the bottom of the pole in the back. i have bent this and was wondering if you know where I can purchase one.

    Thank You

    • Hi. I have no mechanical parts, only some circuit boards and electronic parts. I do have some machining ability. If it’s not a complicated part I might be able to make it, but I don’t have an L1 anymore, so I don’t have anything to use as a reference.
